Setup

Everyone dribbles around inside a coned box while music plays.

Steps

  1. 1Music on — dribble around, heads up, don't bump anyone.
  2. 2Music stops — everyone must jump-stop and freeze their dribble instantly.
  3. 3Coach calls a quick challenge on each freeze ('spin move!', 'dribble low!').
  4. 4Anyone who travels or loses control does one fun forfeit (a cheer, a dance) and plays on — nobody sits out.

Coaching points

  • Listen and react fast.
  • Freeze under control on two feet.
  • Space out — find a gap.

Why kids love it

Music + freeze = pure joy for little kids, and it sneakily builds the jump stop and spatial awareness.

On the freeze, last player to stop is 'it' and picks the next challenge.
