Terms of Service

Practli is operated by Michael Capps, trading as Practli (ABN 53 376 016 297), a sole trader based in Queensland, Australia ("we", "us"). Contact: contact@practli.app.

You need to be 18 or over and able to enter a contract. Practli is a tool for coaches, not for players. Keep your login to yourself — you're responsible for what happens under your account.

• Every new coach gets full Pro for 14 days. No card, no automatic charge, nothing to cancel. When it ends you drop to the free tier unless you choose to subscribe.
• Free tier. Every drill stays browsable with its animated diagram. You get 1 saved plan, 1 active practice, 3 AI-built plans and 10 Ask Coach messages a month, and the Game Day planner.
• Pro. US$9.99 a month or US$69.99 a year. Those prices include any GST, VAT or sales tax that applies where you live — the price you see is the price you pay. It renews automatically until you cancel.
• Who takes the payment. Payments are processed by Stripe as merchant of record, so your receipts and invoices come from Stripe and they handle the tax on the sale. Your subscription, your account and your data are still with us, and you can contact us about anything at all.
• Founding Coach price. Until 30 November the yearly plan is US$49.99. If you subscribe at that price it stays your price for as long as your subscription runs without a break — it is a lower price, not a temporary discount.
• Cancelling. Cancel whenever you like. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for, then move to the free tier — your saved work stays, though free-tier limits apply again.
• Price changes. If we change the price we'll tell existing subscribers by email before it applies to them, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Your plans, practices, notes and roster entries belong to you. You give us permission to store and display them so we can run the service for you, and nothing more — we don't publish your content or use it for marketing. Practices are private unless you turn on sharing, and a shared link deliberately excludes your notes.

The drills, diagrams, animations, written coaching content and the app itself are ours. Use them with your team as much as you like. Don't republish or resell the drill library or its diagrams as your own product.

This is the important clause. Practli gives you general youth-basketball coaching information. It is not medical, physiotherapy, psychological, safeguarding or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional or your club's and federation's own rules.

• You decide what's appropriate for the children in front of you. Their age, ability, fitness, health and the state of your facility are things only you can judge.
• Player safety, supervision, first aid and safeguarding remain entirely your responsibility and your club's.
• Ask Coach is generated by an AI model. It can be confidently wrong. It will not give medical or safeguarding advice, and neither will we — for those, speak to a qualified person.
• If a player is injured or unwell, stop and get proper help. Don't ask an app.

Please don't:

• scrape, bulk-download or republish the drill library;
• resell or sublicense access to Practli;
• try to get around the free-tier limits or paywalls, or probe the service's security;
• upload anything unlawful, or any personal information about a child beyond the first name or nickname the Game Day planner asks for;
• use Ask Coach to generate anything abusive, or anything unrelated to coaching.

We can suspend an account that does these things.

We aim to keep Practli up and quick, but it's a small operation with no uptime guarantee. Features change and occasionally get removed. If we ever shut the service down we'll give subscribers reasonable notice and a way to export their plans.

Practli is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here excludes rights you have that can't be excluded — in Australia, the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, and equivalent protections elsewhere.

You can stop using Practli and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we'll tell you why. If we close your account without cause we'll refund the unused part of what you've paid.

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts there have jurisdiction, without affecting consumer rights you have where you live.
