Setup

Everyone has a ball in a coned box. Pick 2 taggers with pinnies.

Steps

  1. 1Taggers try to tag dribblers (light touch) — a tagged player 'freezes' and holds their ball overhead.
  2. 2A free teammate can 'unfreeze' them by doing 3 crossovers in front of them.
  3. 3If a tagger loses their own dribble, they're out for a round.
  4. 4Swap taggers every 90 seconds.

Coaching points

  • Keep dribbling even while helping a teammate.
  • Protect the ball while you rescue a friend.
  • Heads up to spot frozen teammates.

The rescue element makes kids work together and root for each other — cooperation plus chase-game chaos.
